BIOGRAPHY

I was born in Indianapolis, Indiana the oldest of three children. My family was a creative one and I grew up among musicians, painters, and avid readers.

As a young girl I painted fanciful pictures of fairy creatures (and still do). I have always made up stories about my paintings and one day decided to write them down. So far I have completed a fantasy/romance trilogy, a vampire romance, a young adult novel about a crime solving witch, and many short stories in various genres. Currently I'm working on several fantasy novels.
I like to write about strong men and women and take pride that my characters learn something about themselves as they experience their adventures. My worlds are filled with magic and mystery…and often a little romance.

I live with my wonderful husband and a ferocious ocicat (named Spriggan)* at the edge of a lake in Indiana. When I'm not writing or painting, I love to garden, dance, read, and take long walks in the woods. My husband is a writer too, as is my sister, nephew, and niece. In fact, my sister is my first editor and story confidant.
